Right then, we'll be testing the 750 Watt Commander version. The 750W model we have here is one of three available of the same physical size (650-850W), in addition to 1kW and 1.2kW which are also available yet larger in size.

Much like any PSU 'manufacturer' worldwide there are only a handful of PSU fabricators. Customers place their orders and specify their wishes. We think that the Commander is made by CWT (Channel Well Technology), a quality PSU manufacturer that among others actually also does their business with Corsair and Lian Li.

We'll introduce you to the PSU in our photo shoot. But what you'll notice is that the product packs some punch and looks stylish. Connectors are nicely wrapped in a black colored foil/plastic and are detachable. It is looking good for sure. Its advanced cable management facilitates the installation and gives you the option to only use the required cables.

The PSU (although not certified) is quad SLI and Crossfire ready; it has four 12 volts PCI-Express connectors which combined can carry a total of 60 AMPs, and according to the box, the PSU 12 volts V3 and V4 rails may peak to 18 AMPs per 12V rail.

The PSU is is compatible with EPS12V v2.9, ATX12V v2.2, thus can handle all of your power needs. It can handle a power draw of 28A on the 5v and 30A on the 3.3v rails. Next to that the additional 12v rails can be used to power your graphics cards and come with the newer 6/8 pin connector design (PCI-E II connectors), combined you'll have 750 watts of pure rocking powah, enough for a fairly high-end PC.
